NOSORH Extends Submission Deadline for 2010 NOSORH Awards

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (September 28, 2010) – NOSORH has extended the deadline for submitting 2010 NOSORH Award nominations until Friday, October 1.

NOSORH presents seven awards annually to State Offices of Rural Health, NOSORH members and other noteworthy rural health advocates. New this year is the Emerging Leader Award, which NOSORH will present to a new or existing SORH staff member who has demonstrated new leadership, initiative, and involvement in and a commitment to further the mission of NOSORH or his/her SORH. Award Descriptions for all seven NOSORH Awards and a List of Previous Award Winners are available on the NOSORH web site.

Please download a copy of the 2010 NOSORH Awards Nomination Form and nominate a deserving individual or organization for any of this year’s awards. All nominations should be submitted to Donna Pfaendtner no later than October 1.
