NOSORH Extends Deadline for 2009 Award Nominations

The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) has announced that it has extended the deadline for submitting 2009 NOSORH Award nominations until Friday, September 25.

NOSORH presents six awards annually to State Offices of Rural Health, NOSORH members and other noteworthy rural health advocates. Award Descriptions and a List of Previous Award Winners are both available in the Awards Committee section of the NOSORH Web site.

Please download a copy of the 2009 NOSORH Awards Nomination Form if you would like to nominate an individual or SORH for one of this year’s awards. All nominations should be submitted to Alison Hughes by September 25.

NOSORH will present this year’s awards to honorees during the organization’s annual meeting, which takes place November 18 and 19 in Austin, Texas.
